Please sign on to this letter calling for the task force in charge to correct the pupil weighting formula used to distribute education funds to rural and low-income school districts in Vermont, rather than adopting categorical aid!
lawmakers need to trust low income, rural and diverse school districts to make the right spending decisions for our schools.
Thank you to every single commenter at this week’s public hearing. Each of you took the time to let the legislature know how you feel. 100% of the public comments made were in support of fixing the flawed funding formula.
Do you believe every child in Vermont deserves a good education? On September 8, 5-7pm, there will be a public hearing on the important issue of school funding equity. Please follow this link to find out more, and to add your voice to the fight.
